Symptoms of Unforgiveness

Dwelling on Negative Events

One of the most reliable means of detecting symptoms of unforgiveness is when a person dwells on negative events; both past and present. Unforgiving persons will replay the negative events over and over in their minds, and refuse to submit them to the Lord per His command. Sometimes the unforgiving person will tell other people about these events, and sometimes they will not. Some refuse to say anything, and some cannot stop talking about it. I believe it good to talk over things for the sake of counseling. However, I believe it bad for them to be discussed frequently in ordinary conversations since then it is nothing more than gossip.

Mental torment or mental illness is linked to Unforgiveness.  See List below on Symptoms of Unforgiveness

Negative Images
You will have negative images of the person that hurt you and these images will keep you awake at night!

You Will Be Pinged!
If the person that hurt you enters the room or someone mentions their name, you feel feelings of being pinged, your heart hurts like a broken heart, you get angry, you want to run or hide when the enter the room, start telling someone what they did to you – going into accusation or gossip about that person or you just do not want to hear that name, then you have unforgiveness.

Bitterness
Unforgiving persons are often bitter persons. Family relationships seem to be the hardest for them to cope with. Friends not connected to the family, oddly enough, seem to escape the wrath of the unforgiving person, whereas family members must endure the scowls, silent treatments, insults, thrown objects and yelling. Unforgiving persons, who happen to attend church, treat some church members as badly as they would their immediate family. This is the reason some unforgiving persons refuse to attend church at all.

Depression
A relationship not right with God is depressing. We cannot expect to be blessed when we are out from under God’s hands of protection due to our refusal to forgive someone else. Unforgiving persons cannot have a right relationship with the Lord until they repent and forgive. Therefore, many of God’s blessings are not given them, and protection against the devil is no longer guaranteed the unforgiving person.

Self-Harm
Every cutter and burner I have met, admitted to me that they refuse to forgive someone. Some have told me they use self-injury as a coping mechanism. I do not fully understand this, and wonder if I ever will. Even though I may not understand, I have come to recognize this as a sign of unforgiveness and I then investigate who it was that originally hurt them, and when.

Self-Seclusion
Eventually, the unforgiving person tends to withdraw from having contact with other human beings. There comes a time when it’s simply too much to deal with. The unforgiving person can reach a point to where they will not risk being hurt by anyone else ever again. The issues build up, unless something is released. I’ve noticed that some who seclude themselves engage in “throw-away” relationships via the Internet. This way, as soon as some new Internet friend hurts their feelings, they can send an exhaustive email explaining how they felt the other person hurt them, and then block their ex-friends’ emails or instant messages.

Inability to Recognize God’s Presence
Satan can use unforgiveness to form a barrier between the person and the Lord. How can this be? It’s simple. God cannot forgive those who refuse to forgive someone else. Unforgiven sin separates us from God. It must be the willful volition of the unforgiving person to forgive. It must become their desire to submit their life to God’s Will and love Him more so than obtaining revenge, or any other form of compensation. I advise people to report the crimes against them, so that the matter of justice leaves their hands and is transferred to law enforcement and the judicial system, and ultimately to God. God is just and holy. He punishes sin. If the person refuses to hand the matter over to the authorities, they must forgive nonetheless. Nobody is exempt from God’s command to forgive, no matter the circumstances. The difference is that justice no longer becomes a personal thing, but rather something belonging to God. Instead of our wanting justice our way, we should trust God’s power and perfect planning to deal with the matter justly, His Way. This literally frees us to think about other things, such as God’s love, grace, mercy and His forgiveness of our own personal sins we committed against Him.

Attention Seeking
Some people use past and present unforgiven events to obtain the attention of other people. Have you ever heard the old saying “It’s the squeaky wheel that gets the grease”? Some people have learned that this is true. They squeak! For some reason, and I do not understand why this is either, some unforgiving persons refuse to forgive because they can still use whatever the offense was to obtain the sympathy and attention they crave. To forgive would be to let go of their victim status. Some might fear that nobody will listen to them anymore. When we forgive people, because we have chosen to follow Jesus, we are not victims anymore, but rather we are made more than conquerors in Christ. Attention must be shifted from what happened, and then be given to God in submission to His Divine Will for our lives. Pride must be done away with, so that the unforgiving person will humbly admit they are sinful, too. I believe God’s heart is broken whenever someone is abused, but I also believe that His heart is broken all the more whenever we reject what His Son, Jesus Christ, did on the cross to purchase our forgiveness.

A Spirit of Self Pity

Jesus came to mend broken heart!

Self-Pity, is a spirit that will bind you to your hell of your past as if with super glue and not allow you to go on to the future. That is the purpose of self-pity to not fulfill the calling the Lord has for you.

Accusing spirits will accompany Self-pity and hold you fast – into feeling so sorry for yourself that life no longer works for you. So, it is essential to let go of the past if we are to move into a new future potential of liberty in Christ. Otherwise, you are stuck not able to move forward to the things Christ has preordained you to be.

Demons usually come in groups, not just one at a time, and the one who gains entrance, helps the others to come in. When self pity speaks, it can lead to defeatism coming in, which then leads to the downward spiral of depression, and feeling worthless and despairing. Feeling worthless and despairing can also then lead to all sorts of bondage’s– alcohol, sex, drugs, overeating, anorexia because of feelings of being worthless.

Not only that, if you are sick, will not allow you to be well mentally. When your mind is sick, then your body can start to decay – the mind, body and soul connection. Everything is connected. Every negative thought releases negative chemicals producing disease.

Self-pity must be surrendered to God for God to miraculous heal you -healing your wounded heart. One of the most effective ways to destroy the habit of feeling sorry for one’s self, is first of all to focus on God. Look at his creation and praise him. Several ways to surrender self-pity:

Choose a favor ate scripture of promise of God’s word for you.

Many times unforgiveness is the key holding self pity into place. That means doing what the word says and letting go and forgiving those who have hurt you.

Self pity often then leads to unforgiveness, anger and hatred, resentment, rebellion of all sorts, even a murderous and bitter broken heart.

Self pity can be broken by taking the time to praise the Lord for the smallest of things. Having a grateful heart.

Self-pity can be a spiritual stronghold of thinking and might need more help such as deliverance prayers. Jesus came setting the captives free from generational curses, bondage’s, demon possession, etc.

Learn To Love Yourself

How to Learn to Love Yourself

Are you HONESTLY Loving yourself?

The Unloving Spirit is just the opposite of all that God has ordained us to be. The unloving spirit’s work to separate us from God, self and others and then have us hate ourselves and believe that God loves others but not ourselves by barraging us with lies about who we are, what people think of us, and lies about what God thinks of us.

These spirits are assigned to undermine our self-esteem and our ability to trust in a loving God. America, when asked these questions “Do you love yourself?”, “Do you like yourself”? – 70% replied “NO”! Matt. 19:19Matt. 19:19
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

WP-Bible plugin
is really clear what we are to do..(Commandment, not a suggestion). We are to love OURSELVES, and then love others.  You cannot give out what you do not have!

Please answer these questions, honestly. No one but you and God can see them.

1. Do you love yourself?

2. Do you accept every thing about you as God created you (your looks, your body, etc.) or do you wish you could change something about yourself? Did you know you are made in the image of God and if you cannot accept your body, then you are slapping the Lord in the face saying “you made a mistake.”

3. Do you accept yourself right now?

4. Are you mad at yourself and/or resent self?

5. Have you done something in the past that you cannot forgive yourself for?

6. Do you wrestle with guilt and in self-condemnation?

7. Do you struggle with shame?

8.Do you harbor blame?

9.When you drop something, do you curse yourself with words “I’m stupid”, “what’s wrong with me”, I’m so clumsy”? That is a sign of an unloving spirit.

10.List how you feel about yourself and LIST all the things you don’t like about yourself. For example: Are there are things about you that you cannot change? You say, it’s just the way I am. And if I’m to change, it will take a miracle from God. Can you accept those things right now? Are you hiding from God because of the way you are? How do you see yourself in God’s eyes?

11.You cannot leave the house without your face done, hair perfect and nails painted? People accuse you of being vain.

Did you know that Jesus said the “greatest commandment’ includes loving yourself? Luke 10:27Luke 10:27
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

WP-Bible plugin
He answered: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.” They will know we are Christians by our love? Yes, your ability to LOVE is far more important that any gift, talent, skill, calling or resume.

God’s plan is for us to love God and to love others and as we love ourselves. His plan is to reconcile us to Himself, to others and to ourselves, in a new oneness. The problem is that most of us have not received Father God’s love and do not know how to love ourselves. We measure ourselves by our performance and others too. Maybe you grew up in a critical home or a self-conscious home? You grew up in a home worrying what others think instead of having peace with yourself of who you?

The devil’s plan has always been to separate you from others, from God, from yourself and ultimately to destroy your ability to love. He seeks to erode our love by attacking us through others and through our own minds. Usually, how we see God, has been distorted by our perceptions of human father figures around us. The devil’s goal is to block us from seeing God’s love and seeing ourselves as God sees us. Psalm 139:14Psalm 139:14
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. right...: Heb. greatly

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”

“Peace comes from contentment of accepting who I am at the moment in time I am living right now!”

If we were content about who we are, our relationships with others and with our God, we would have Peace! The Unloving Spirit gets you focused on self (going inward or looking backwards).

Prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus, I recognize that I have been believing the lies of the devil and repent for coming into agreement with him. In the name of Jesus, I renounce and break all agreements with his lies and command all these unloving spirits to leave me, to go to dry uninhabited places and never come back. I ask you to fill every empty place in me with your Life and Peace. I choose to receive God’s truth about me: Because of what Jesus Christ has done for me on the cross, God sees me as righteous, holy and blameless in His site. (Ephesians 1:4Ephesians 1:4

)

I agree with God’s truth that I am precious, loveable, totally forgiven, unconditionally loved and accepted, completely apart from my performance. I choose to receive all the blessings that I have been afraid to receive. I ask you to restore me to your purposes and plans. Please “restore all the years that the locusts have eaten.” Father God, you love me and have promised you will never leave me. (Romans 8) Amen

Now, it is equally important to receive God’s truth about you instead of each one of these lies. If you would like to download Bible verses about how much God loves you, see below. If you will look yourself in the eye (in the mirror) and agree with God, He will begin to delete the lies and replace them with His truth about you. Try it! GUARANTEE: If you will declare His truths from this love letter, for 40 days; God will “re-parent” you and renew your mind! The Word of God will arm you with truth to defeat the accuser and you will walk in new confidence and victory! Start looking in the mirror every morning and say “I’m a gorgeous hunk of dust!” Start seeing yourself as the Lord sees you!

Whenever you have thoughts against yourself such as self-accusation, self-rejection, self-hatred, etc., then practice 2 Corinthians 10:52 Corinthians 10:5

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; imaginations: or, reasonings

WP-Bible plugin
“casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,” Why! These are negative feelings not from the Lord and it is not His character but the character of Satan’s kingdom – it is a spirit. When the Lord said to Adam, why are you hiding, Adam said “I was afraid, because I was naked.” The Lord said “Who told thee that thou wast naked? That means there was a spirit being with a voice speaking to Adam telling him he was naked after the fall! It came in as a thought and Adam became one with that thought!

Quotes scriptures of who you are!

After you’ve done all this and you still hear the unloving spirit and you agreed with it, then do the 8′rs any time something starts playing in your mind! For example, you have a feeling of insecurity come over you and you pull back because you agreed with it. 1. Recognize you have insecurity, 2. take responsibility – don’t blame others, 3. repent to the Lord since you took in insecurity into your heart, 4. renounce that spirit of insecurity, 5. remove it. Tell the spirit of insecurity to leave and send it to dry places. 6. resist – if it comes back then quote scriptures that pertain to you being accepted, loved and secure in His love, etc. and believe it. Your security is in the Lord and not in people. Get to the place you are not looking to people to make you feel secure or accepted. You are already accepted. 8. rejoice to the Lord that it is not your identity, 9. restore others.

More on the 8rs which are keys to freedom!

1. RECOGNIZE – every thought comes to you comes from some kingdom.

We need to bring every thought captive: We react to every thought that comes into our minds. It changes the chemicals in our mind. We need to learn renewed in my minds and freed from strongholds.

We need to know the promises for us.

5. REMOVE IT –remove the temptation or remove the sin such as rejection, etc.

Mathew 4:1-5, 7-10w 4:1-5, 7-10
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

4 1 Better it is to have no children, and to have virtue: for the memorial thereof is immortal: because it is known with God, and with men. 2 When it is present, men take example at it; and when it is gone, they desire it: it weareth a crown, and triumpheth for ever, having gotten the victory, striving for undefiled rewards. 3 But the multiplying brood of the ungodly shall not thrive, nor take deep rooting from bastard slips, nor lay any fast foundation. 4 For though they flourish in branches for a time; yet standing not last, they shall be shaken with the wind, and through the force of winds they shall be rooted out. 5 The imperfect branches shall be broken off, their fruit unprofitable, not ripe to eat, yea, meet for nothing. 7 But though the righteous be prevented with death, yet shall he be in rest. 8 For honourable age is not that which standeth in length of time, nor that is measured by number of years. 9 But wisdom is the gray hair unto men, and an unspotted life is old age. 10 He pleased God, and was beloved of him: so that living among sinners he was translated.

“1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. 3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” 4 But He answered and said, “It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” 5 Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, 7 Jesus said to him, “It is written again, “You shall not tempt the LORD your God.” 8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.”

6. RESISTED – Accusation will try to come back so resist it. That is why we need to discern good and evil. The Devil gives afflictions.

I Peter 5:6-9r 5:6-9
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. in due time: or, according to the time 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Satan Accuses

Spiritual Warfare and Demons:

The “body of sin” (Romans 6:6Romans 6:6
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

WP-Bible plugin
) refers to Satan and his demons, the old nature, the flesh, or the Adamic nature. A study of the nature of Satan, the old nature, the flesh, or the Adamic nature, reveals that they all share the same characteristics. In reality they are synonyms. When we sin, we open the door for a demon to act out its nature through us.

Video is from Youtube and not my production.

Discernment is the primary weapon of the mature Christian in spiritual warfare. Mature Christians discern between good and evil, and choose to be good. II Corinthians 10:5 teaches us to take captive all of our thoughts to see if they line up with Jesus Christ (does it bring life or death, does it bring peace or condemnation) and the teachings of His Word.

Satan Accuses

Accusing spirits’ goals are to bring us down, to bring others down, and to bring God down. They seek to separate us from God, others and ourselves. Satan uses an old military tactic of divide and conquer. That is accusation. Who are you going to listen too? When someone accuses you, do you separate them? Romans 7 Separation teaching taught us it is not them but the sin that is within them. Satan will use anyone as a medium to bring death with the tongue. He wants you to engage and/or defend yourself to others to bring division, separation and isolation.

Why do we accuse, there is usually a spirit of bitterness operating in that person’s heart as well as a spirit of gossip.  Satan wants you to gossip and ruin another person’s reputation.

1 John 1:71 John 1:7
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

WP-Bible plugin
says, “But if we walk in the light, as He is the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His son cleanseth us from all sin.” Accusing spirits say, “I can’t have fellowship with you and you can’t have fellowship with me because we don’t agree on the use of worship choruses.” Accusing spirits attempt to separate us from God and our friends and family. But the truth is that we all have fellowship if we “walk in the light, as He is in the light.”

Think about the following:

* Do you accuse yourself when you drop something?

* Do you accuse God when things go bad or not going right?

* Do you accuse others and blame others for your failures? Adam accused Eve to God.

* Do you accuse who you are in the mirror and wish you were someone else or had different hair, different nose, etc.?

* When someone is mad at you do you feel like accusing them back to defend yourself?

A partial list of accusing spirits:

* Refusing fellowship with a person who has changed

* Holding people to their past behaviors

* Keeping a record of wrongs

* Bigotry

* Competition, not feeling whole unless we win

* Mistrust

* Establishing non-Biblical standards for others to attain

* Heaviness

* Gossip and innuendo

* Being easily offended. Easily offending others

* Self-exaltation

* Envy/Jealousy

* Resentment

* Misunderstandings can be the work of an evil spirit

* Suicide

* Judging another for the same behavior of which we are guilty, while excusing ourselves

* Not walking in or accepting forgiveness

* A scapegoat mentality

* Blaming others for problems

* Self-condemnation

* Self-accusation

* Trying to become The Holy Spirit in another’s life

* Judging others

* Becoming one with accusation

* Focusing on another’s weakness

* Anger

* Bitterness

* Depression

* Fear

* Hate

* Low self-esteem

* Perfection

* Rejection

* Vanity

* Worry

* Suspicion

How do we receive victory? God has the answer, but there are standards we must attain. Remember that in Christ, we have everything we need to gain victory. But we must allow His power and authority to work through us.

It all starts with knowing God personally because He is the one that brings healing. Submission requires obedience to God. We submit when we forgive others and ourselves.

Scriptures say to resist the devil. Do you believe the devil is real? If you don’t, you have bought into the ultimate deception.

James 4:8James 4:8
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

WP-Bible plugin
says, “Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you.” this verse requires us to do something: draw close to God. He will respond. God has told us to seek His face (1 Chronicles 16:111 Chronicles 16:11
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

11 Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.

WP-Bible plugin

, Ps. 105:4Ps. 105:4

).

Sometimes we have been hurt so much and bitterness has taken over and their might be a need for deliverance from demons.

If you have accused you, others or God here is a prayer of release.

Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I repent for all the ways that I have accused others in my life and in my generations. I forgive myself and release myself from this bitterness. In the name of Jesus I cancel all of Satan’s authority over me in this bitterness because God has forgiven me and I have forgiven myself. In the name of Jesus, I command all accusing spirits that accuses others to me to go. Holy Spirit please come and heal my heart and tell me your truth.

How to Deal with Envy and Jealousy

Envy and Jealousy Video

Definition of Envy and Jealousy

cell phone accessories 80% off

As we being look into the spirits of envy and jealousy I want to start with the definitions of envy and jealousy and each spiritual root.

Envy – discontented desire or resentment aroused by another’s possessions, achievements and /or advantages

Jealousy – fearful of losing what one has to another; someone’s love or affection (husband/wife relationships, friendships) – arises from envy, it’s an uneasiness that arises (envy) because of the fear that someone is going to rob something or somebody you (I) love – what happens next is you (we) become suspicion and suspect things to happen that you have no proof of and quickly the person moves into vain imagination.

These events can happen before we even realize what has occurred – that is why I believe as believers we must learn to appropriate the scriptures 2 Cor. 10:52 Cor. 10:5
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; imaginations: or, reasonings

WP-Bible plugin
is vitally important in our lives “Casting down vain imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”

In the Hebrews envy and jealousy have synonymous meanings.

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

The spiritual root issue behind envy and jealousy is FEAR – fear of displacement due to the deception of covetousness–

Covetousness according to Webster Dictionary – to desire that which is another’s, to wish for excessively; crave

Heb 13:5Heb 13:5
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

WP-Bible plugin
–6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have; for he hath said, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord “is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

An open door comes into our lives when we look at others for acceptance that only God can give us therefore we begin to suspect someone or something is trying to move us out of a place God has placed us. You may have never been displaced, although the spirit is still operating in your life. This could be due to a generational curse operating that came into you as a very young child. You may have been over looked by your parents or given special favoritism that your brothers and sisters did not receive. The open door sets the stage for the person to begin going to the lesser rather than the greater, which is Idolatry.

Our God is no respecter of person for those that fear Him and walk in righteous before HIM. Act 10: 34-35Act 10: 34-35

34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

O Lucifer: or, O day star 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

First demonic spirits in bible when Lucifer exalts himself above God.

“How art thou fallen from heaven, “O, Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the most high. Yet thou shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.”

Lucifer was driven and motivated to sin against the Most High God. He was jealous of the honor God received. He wanted to be like God. The enemy hates it when we worship God and wants to stop worship anyway he can.

Jealousy is operating in your life if you are unable to give others honor or if when someone else receives recognition or honor you are thinking about yourself what about me why did they get that and I didn’t you don’t know the whole circumstances or the scarifies that person has walked in you to be where they are in the LORD (or in LIFE) you just immediately move into judgment, comparison and lack of appreciation for another person.

Personal Testimony: Open door as young child and in walk out. Share about jealousy in ministry and how I was not covered properly and opened door to jealousy to come into my heart even though I repented of the sin of allowing the envy/jealousy into my life and had to be restored due to the emotional damage it brought into my life and how it opened up the spirit of death to operate. Most recently I am walking through a situation at work with the Retired Counselor being hired and the feelings that came up inside me. Ungrateful, unappreciative, judging, comparing and feeling of displacement operating.

This time I am recognizing what is happening more clearly and repenting for allowing ungratefulness into my heart and long with all the other ungodly spirits. Just this week the spirit of death was trying to come back into my life but I quickly recognized, repented for opening the door, renounce and continued through the 8 R’s.

Bitterness sets the stage for envy/jealousy. Takes eyes off God and puts eyes on others or makes others source of supply for value.

Powerful dynamic voice saying, “What you have is valuable but I hate you because of what you have and I don’t” or you are loved more by others and I hate you but I’m going to destroy you by isolating you.

- Comparing self with someone else, never satisfied

- Keeps person from being who they are

- Steals peace, thinks God will not provide

Fear of Man

Marriage situation Luciferian spirit unable to honor each other or worship God

Love/Lust Love – give, receives, free will Lust – takes

Brings serious diseases to body, can come from outside to me from someone else if that person is jealous of us

Love/Hate Love keeps no record of wrong. How do they do that. They will list your imperfections or what they expect you in how to perform around them. If you do not perform the way they want, they will punish you.

Hate desires to get even – unforgiveness.

What happens with Envy and Jealousy is that when we do not rejoice with those over their successes or blesses we become critical, judgmental and eventually hating that person in our hearts. All because they were blessed!

Satan is being used in our lives – the enemy hates for us to give honor, glory and praise to anything especially the Lord he wants it all for himself.

Envy/Jealousy can be dealt with in corporate ministry – Individual sessions will not produce anything without repentance of sin and getting right with GOD in this area.

When an uneasy feeling of JEALOUSY arises within you do not take it lightly. It is a one of the most serious places you can be because it is a Luciferian Spirit that is coming out of all Satan Hates – worship, honor and glory given to God.

Begin to recognize a pattern of Envy/Jealousy 3 common patterns

1) People that are not willing to pay the price for the anointing and calling God has on their lives you have a tendency to look at someone with an uneasiness and say to yourself

a. “Who do they think they are?”

b. “Why do they get all the blessings?”

c. “Why are they getting the revelations from God?”

Spirit of Jealous = Spirit of Death. How, because they will try to bring death on others through bringing destruction and control into your life.

Genesis 4 Cain and Abel 4-13

3 And in the process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.

4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. 6 And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? And why is thy countenance fallen? 7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? And if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. 8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and slew him. 9 And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not Am I my brother’s keeper? 10 And he said, What hast thou done? The voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground. 11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand; 12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. 13 And Cain said unto the Lord My punishment is greater than I can bear.

Abel had paid the price of obedience to the Lord and brought a blood sacrifice, although Cain took a short cut and brought sacrifice of what he had done. Abel was blessed and Cain was not, which caused him to be jealous and function in a spirit of death. When we chose the convenient way rather than paying the price of complete obedience and surrender to the Lord and feelings of jealous come into your life towards someone else the spirit of jealous will team up together to bring death. How does this happen in our lives well we cut that person out of our lives. Blessings and curses come out of the mouth. The Lord gives everyone the same opportunity to walk in obedience. Don’t take a short cut to your inheritance it doesn’t work and you end up in Envy/Jealousy over people who have taken the time and sacrifice to get where God is using them.

2) People that are insecure in their position are wide open for Jealousy to come in. Saul and David 1Sam16:6-9 And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy , and with instruments of musick. 7 And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands. 8 And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands and to me they have ascribed but thousands, and what can he have more but the kingdom? 9 And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.

Eyed in Hebrew means to watch with jealousy. Because David received more praise than Saul it opened a door of jealousy in Saul towards David. There assignments in the Kingdom were different but Saul wouldn’t see that and allowed anger and wrath to enter into him. David had to flee because Saul was out to murder him. Because of his insecurity Saul wasn’t thankful for the 1000 he had slain he looked at the 10,000he 10,000

David slain and began to compare himself with him that opened the door to jealousy then he was unable to rejoice for David. You see how Jealousy and Death walk together – it is a serious deadly spirit that looks for a way to eliminate and kill the person.

3) Thirdly we can become jealous of the sovereignty of God. God can do what ever he wants to however and when ever He wants. We can sometimes get jealous of that sovereignty.

Matthew 20:1-16Matthew 20:1-16
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

20 1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. 2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. penny: the Roman penny is the eighth part of an ounce, which after five shillings the ounce is seven pence halfpenny; about fourteen cents 3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? 7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive. 8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. 9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. 10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny. 11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house, 12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day. have wrought...: or, have continued one hour only 13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? 14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee. 15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? 16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

For the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire laborers into his vineyard. 2 And when he had agreed with the laborers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he went about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace. 4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. 8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the laboureres, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. 9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. 10 But when the first came they supposed that they should have received more, and they likewise received every man a penny. 11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the Goodman of the house 12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day. 13 But he answered, one of them and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? 14 Take that thine, is and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee. 15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? 16 So the last shall be first, and first last, for many be called, but few are chosen.

Our God is no respecter of person and we will all receive the same reward that is HIS sovereignty. We must understand this so that when those that have been idol all of a sudden are saved, fill with the spirit and rise up in ministry and be – we do not become jealous. Many are called but few are chosen to be. God does not prefer them over us we get to be and they get to be. The spirit of jealousy will rise up if we do not understand the sovereignty character of God.

Again, it all comes out of the root of FEAR of displacement and not feeling as though you have a place.

Jealousy can destroy relationships especially marriages.

If you truly love someone you cannot hate them. What was operating was lust not real love a perverted spirit. A counterfeit affection. That is in a marriage situation.

A man jealous wanted a trophy wife to make him look good.

In a friendship, it is also a perverted spirit because you have something they will use for them to look good. Many times co-dependency will develop in this type of friendship.

Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon then arm; for love is strong as death jealousy is cruel as the grave; the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.

Be caution of those that cause division count them brother/sister but do not fellowship with them.

Lust – looks into other peoples business – curiosity, medalling to obtain information to be used for future control to feed a root of bitterness.

How does jealousy come? Comes as an emotional wound because you have not been preferred. … the spirit of Jealousy says “they don’t care about me. If they cared about me they would have recognized me.”

Jealousy will make you be in disagreement with everything your spouse says.

Jealousy is working to mess up your worth. Problem being that we have never seen that our worth actually comes from GOD. The spirit of Jealous will rise up within us when a wound is present and we are looking for our worth in other places rather than the Lord.

The spirit of jealous is not from a fiery dart of the enemy or a betrayal. It’s like a puncture wound and it takes a long time to heal. A cut heals quickly but a puncture wound takes much longer. It’s extremely susceptive to other demons that come in as companions. Usually comes out of disloyalty, broken trust or betrayal. The puncture comes because you feel like someone has been disloyal to you, broken a trust or betrayed. The voices say, “ I thought I could trust that person.”

Envy attacks our emotions to bind us up and make us ineffective for the Lord.

Scriptural picture of how Envy/Jealousy operate:

Psalm 73:1-28Psalm 73:1-28

Envy/Jealousy are multi-facet – perfectionism=jealousy

Ask yourself these questions: Is anyone jealousy of who I am?

Is anyone jealous of what I am doing?

Is anyone intimidated by my gifting?

Do I have vain imaginations about people?

Must deal with every area of fear in our personal lives and ask the Lord to help us be transparent –

How envy/jealous spirit operates when we have fear due to insecurity in our lives that we are going to be displaced whether real or imaginative it does not matter it operates the same way. The fear opens the door to judgmental/critical spirit once that is locked into your heart we begin to judge the situation and/or person then the door is opened to suspicion and imagination. Next we begin to watchfully guard our lives, which brings a separation, which creates tension and distrust. Now we are in the progression to jealous rage. Underlying Spirit of Principality of Bitterness~

Unforgiveness is operating now is our lives, which can hardened our hearts.

Example: Prodigal son – Bother jealous of prodigal son – turned on him

Now that unforgiveness has entered into our lives we will begin to try to manipulate situation and people, which opens the door to witchcraft occult spirits. At this point we have become one with Jealousy and the Spirit of Death has legal ground in our lives. We can not resist this spirit we have to be DELIVERED according to Luke 4:18Luke 4:18
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

For us to be set free we must repent of allow judgments in our hearts to break, forgive and then begin to speak words of blessing over the situation, people and ourselves. Allow the Love of the Lord to come in and heal the deep wound and release all the pain to HIM that HE took on the cross IS 53.

Is there any healthy good Envy/Jealous? Yes, Godly jealousy

2Corinthians 11:2 “I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.”

John 11:1-44John 11:1-44
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

11 1 Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. 2 3 Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. 4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. 5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. 6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was. 7 Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again. 8 His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again? 9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. 10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him. 11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. 12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. 13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. 14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. 15 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him. 16 Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellowdisciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him. 17 Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already. 18 Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off: about...: that is, about two miles 19 And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. 20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house. 21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. 22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. 23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. 24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? 27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world. 28 And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee. 29 As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him. 30 Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him. 31 The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there. 32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. 33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, was troubled: Gr. he troubled himself 34 And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. 35 Jesus wept. 36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him! 37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died? 38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. 39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. 40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? 41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. 42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. 43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

Stone means taking away the stumbling block the millstone that caused him death. When someone is jealous of us it brings a millstone around our neck an put a stumbling block in our way of fulfilling our call and ultimate death comes in some area of our lives.

The Kingdom of God suffers violence but the violence take it back by force. Meaning we believers must suffer even to death but the violent Holy one take back with the enemy has stolen from them by force.

The enemy hates for us to be a friend of God. What can save us from the Spirit of Jealousy? What can we do to protect ourselves from jealousy/envy?

We need to establish a 3 fold cord of truth with yourself, someone else and the Lord. Begin to Honor those around you by speaking out what you see in their Character, gifting, anointing and the fruit in their lives.

God Has Not Given Us a Spirit of Fear

A spirit of Fear is the Opposite of Faith

WHAT IT IS DOING TO YOUR BODY!

I’m going to start out and say that Fear is a sin. Why do I say this? One, Fear is the opposite of faith. Also the Bible says “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6Hebrews 11:6
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

.

If you are manifesting fear over some situation, then confess it to the Lord through repentance.  There are over 4000 types of fear according to the medical community.

* Goals: Recognize the damage that fear does to you physically, emotionally and spiritually to your body, soul and spirit.

* Fear comes from not having a right relationship with God, self or others.

* Reveal what will defeat fear in our lives Participate in a ministry session for deliverance of fear A.

What is Fear? Fear: fear is stress, fear is anxiety, fear is worry, being afraid, scared, worried, anxious, concerned that a bad thing is going to happen. Fear projects into the future. A spirit of fear robs you of your peace and joy.  Fear comes in two forms:

1. Fight or flight. The Hypothalamus doesn’t know the difference between these two types of fear. Our bodies were not designed to live in continual ongoing fear. We are to live in peace with our Heavenly Father. If we do not know how to live in peace, then fear can cause many problems in our health and well being.

2. Fear is a Spiritual Problem - Fear is not an emotional problem; fear is a spiritual problem. The Bible identifies fear as a spirit in 2 Timothy 1:72 Timothy 1:7
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

God tells us over and over not to fear. We can put our trust in Him.

“8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.”

We are all going to deal with fear, or worry, some time in our lives.  It is what we do with it that matters.

Reasons fear entered in:

1.  Everyday life our jobs, children, finances, husbands, relationships, to meet someone’s expectations, deadlines, etc.

2. Broken heart

3. Trauma

4. Abandonment through divorce, etc.

5. Betrayal

6. Someone else’s sin (sexual abuse of all kinds)

7. Bitterness (separation in 3 areas – self, others or God). Is there someone you cannot forgive? Unforgiveness is a big reason why people do not get healed because it is against God’s Word.

Again Fear is Sin – Anything that is not of faith is sin. Why, because it is the opposite of God’s character. It is a lack of faith in Him to meet our needs. It is a spirit of doubt and unbelief. Fear drives and faith leads. If you are not being lead, then you are probably in fear. If you are driven to perfection and cannot rest, then there is a spirit of fear operating. That also means you are being driven by fear and not lead by faith.

How To Overcome Stress

Romans 14:23Romans 14:23
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. doubteth: or, discerneth and putteth a difference between meats damned: or, condemned, or liable to punishment

– Fear and Faith are alike in this dimension: Both project into the future and Both demand to be fulfilled. Faith projects good into the future and Fear projects bad into the future.

“23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.”

Fear Can Be Defeated

God = Power, Love, Sound Mind Power = Holy Spirit Love = The Father Sound Mind = The Word of God Our Relationship with the Godhead can defeat The Spirit of Fear.

God’s word says 365 times to “Fear Not”.  God knew mankind was going to wrestle with fear.

Expresions of Spirit of Fear

Fear is expressed in a lot of ways… You may say, “I just don’t have enough faith” Romans 12:3Romans 12:3
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. soberly: Gr. to sobriety

We many times look at our circumstances in front of us because fear is so very connected to our senses of what we hear, see, feel, taste, etc. You have to look beyond what is happening in front of you. The things in front of you are not eternal (and are temporary situations) but the things you cannot see are eternal (forever). You have to trust in the Word of God and stand on the word of God. Learn to cast down fear according to 2 Corinthians 10:52 Corinthians 10:5

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; imaginations: or, reasonings

WP-Bible plugin
. You have the authority!

If you have hope you have all the faith you will ever need.  Fear is walking in the flesh and faith is walking in the spirit.  You have to choose life and trust God to take care of your situations.

How To Overcome Worry

1 Peter 5:71 Peter 5:7
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

WP-Bible plugin
says “7Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”  Jesus truly cares about every detail of your life.  You have to cast your problems you have no control of to Him.  That sometimes is the spiritual fight to keep it with Him.  How many times have you given it to Him, and 10 minutes later you are thinking about the situation again.  That is the war of continually deciding to leave it with Him.

Some of you will say “Am I suppose to pray”.  Yes, but give the burden to the Lord.  Jesus is our yoke.

he words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-29Matthew 11:28-29
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

WP-Bible plugin
address this very issue.  “Come
to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.   Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Again, this scripture indicates Jesus wants to cast our heavy burdens to Him.  He wants to give us rest.  Rest is abiding in Him in all situations of life.

That is why I said it is important to renew your mind. We can remove the spirit of fear, but you have to create new means or new protein synthesis with the Word of God. You have to make a decision (resist) and speak it out to God through meditation of the Word that you don’t want fear in your life any more. You need to make a bold declaration to the Lord. When a specific fear is coming on you, you say “I don’t accept this fear in my life any more” and then Cast Your Cares To Him...”  Trust that He will work it out.

We are overcoming the spirit of fear.  When you cast your cares to him, he is able and activated to work it out for you.  Matthew 21:21Matthew 21:21
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

What Happens To Us When We Are Under Excessive Stress?

When we experience excessive stress – whether from internal worry or external circumstance – a bodily reaction is triggered, called the “fight or flight” response. This response is hard-wired into our brains and represents a genetic wisdom designed to protect us from bodily harm. This response actually corresponds to an area of our brain called the hypothalamus, which – when stimulated – initiates a sequence of nerve cell firing and chemical release that prepares our body for running or fighting. The hypothalamus works to keep your body in homeostasis.

What are the signs that our fight or flight response has been stimulated? When our flight or flight response is activated, sequences of nerve cell firing occur and chemicals like adrenaline, noradrenaline and cortisol are released into our bloodstream. These releases cause our body to undergo a series of very dramatic changes. Our respiratory rate increases, blood is shunted away from our digestive tract and directed into our muscles and limbs, which require extra energy and fuel for running or fighting. Many other things occur as well. This is a God given protective mechanism. When the threat is over, our bodies return to normal. When too long, it starts to destroy the body.

Your body is made up of several systems working together.

The Endocrine System

The Hypothalamus is called the brain of the endocrine system. It is located in the third ventricle. When the back of your head hurts from tension, this is where you rub your neck. It is the facilitator for many things.

An EI reaction is a direct result of a combination of hormones being secreted by the Hypothalamus, and the central nervous system being activated by fear, anxiety and stress.

When you are continually geared up to fight to flight stressor, there are all kinds of things happening inside your body. Science calls it the mind/body connection. We call it the spirit, soul and body connection.

To be at Homeostasis. The integration of the balance of all body functions to stay at Homeostasis,

1. Obey God’s commandments

2. Love God

3. Love yourself

4. Love your neighbor

The Limbic System

The limbic system is the connection between your cerebrum, where your brain is, down through to your hypothalamus. It is the connection between the psyche (thought) and the physio (body).

God is interested in not only your spirit that will go to heaven one day, but also in your day-to-day survival. Psychology teaches that there is a conscious and a collective unconscious part of the soul.

1 Thessalonians 5:231 Thessalonians 5:23
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

WP-Bible plugin
“And the very God of peace santify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blaemeless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ”

The hypothalamus is called the “brain” of the endocrine system, but it is not a brain. It is a gland, which is a facilitator and originator of the following life circumstances; fear, anxiety, stress, tension, panic, panic attacks, phobia, rage, anger and aggression.

John 14:27John 14:27
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

WP-Bible plugin
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

The limbic system functions in the emotional aspects of behavior related to survival. When you do not feel loved or secure, or have been victimized, you fight for survival. The limbic system also functions in memory and controls most of the involuntary aspects of the entire nervous system.

General Adaptation Syndrome (GAS)

Homeostasis may be viewed as a specific response by the body to specific stimuli. Its mechanisms “fine tune” the body, and if successful, or environment maintains a uniform chemistry, temperature, and pressure. However, if stress is extreme or unusual, the stress triggers a wide-range set of bodily changes called GAS.

GAS does not maintain a constant internal environment. In fact, it does just the opposite. The purpose of these changes is to gear up the body to meet emergencies, known as stressors.

A stressor is anything that causes fear in your life. Fear and anxiety are affecting your body behind the scenes, and you don’t even see it happening.

Cortisol

Cortisol is a very important hormone in the body in fight or flight. However, the long-term, over-secretion of cortisol destroys your immune system, and according to the medical community has direct physiological effects on a lot of bodily functions (you can read about this on page 152 of AMEW).

“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine; but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”

When this happens, this can adversely affect the immune response, among other somatic conditions. It is thought that 50-80% of all diseases are a result of excessive stress. Stress involves the dynamic interaction of the body and mind- brain and behavior.

Examples of these stress-induced changes included the following:

1. Enlargement of the adrenal cortex, a gland that produces stress hormones.

2. Constant release of stress hormones; corticosteroids released from the adrenal cortex.

3. Atrophy or shrinkage of lymphatic glands (thymus gland, spleen and lymph nodes).

4. A significant decrease in the white blood cell count. This effects the immune system.

5. Bleeding ulcerations of the stomach and colon.

6. Death to the organism.

Many of these changes were very subtle and often went unnoticed until permanent damage had occurred. He referred to these collective changes as the General Adaptation Syndrome (GAS), a process in which the body tries to accommodate the stress by adapting to it.

Practical steps to freedom from fear!

1. Make a decision (resist) and speak it out to God that you don’t want fear in your life any more. You need to make a bold declaration to the Lord. I do not accept the fear in your life any more.

2. Ask god for discernment how fear is impacting your life. Find out where fear entered in your life.

3. Repent to God for specifically to each way you have given into fear and not trusted Him and not believed in His Word. You have to do that when fear is present. That means when you are having a panic attack or struggling to fear, repent to fear because fear is a sin because it is opposite to God because everything about God is faith. Fear is a spirit according to 2 Timothy 1:72 Timothy 1:7
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

WP-Bible plugin
“He did not give us a spirit of fear but of sound mind…”

4. Ask god to forgive you for these sins or fears you have entertained and to work in your heart so that you can truly trust and believe God and be free from fear.

5. Walk in this every day. How do you break old habits? You are developing new habits by doing this daily until you have God as your faith instead of being ruled by fear and anxiety. That means ask God to deliver you from this spirit of fear.

6. When fear tries to come, quote the word at it or at the enemy. 2 Timothy 1:72 Timothy 1:7
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

WP-Bible plugin
for God has not given me a spirit of fear but of a sound mind. The word is a spiritual weapon. Ask the Lord to help you to believe his word as truth and will not believe what fear is saying to you any more. Look up the promises of God in scripture to combat fear.

7. Find a ministry that understands deliverance that is able to work and bring you to freedom. Especially if a person has had trauma. Trauma brings in fear that can grip so look for a ministry that will deal with the spirit of fear.

Every time we feel fear rising up in you, you have to decide what you are going to believe. When you believe in God’s word which declares repeatedly that when you trust God and believe Him, He will protect and care for you and save you from all of your trouble or anxiety. Or will we believe the fear that speaks against the word of God? This is a part you play to get fear defeated in your life. You have to continually choose that you will believe God no matter what things might look like to you in your natural eyes or seem like to your natural mind. Then, you will have a living faith in the word of god to come to past in your lives.

Father God, heal the places where the spirit(s) of fear have been and filled that place with your peace, love, healing and restoration. I break the programming and the old means (old memories) and ask you lord to create new memories and new means (protein synthesis) now in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
